Kenny Ortega Reflects On Michael’s Big Heart

“This guy had the biggest heart… He really, really did care about improving the human condition, especially for children. And that was a part of his mission. While he was on tour…he always wanted to know what he could do in each place so that when he left, he left a place better…” ~Kenny Ortega

Michael was the most generous soul ,with the most kind and loving heart. I miss his love, his presence, his smile, his beautiful and wise words about loving our Planet, loving humanity.

I think of Michael Jackson every day. Probably to my detriment but I think it is such an incredible loss for this world. People should have done more to recognize the the kindness and true goodness of this once in a life time entertainer, humanitarian, and soulful human being. I sat down while I was watching one of his interviews and made a list of adjectives that describe Michael Jackson and there were so many I filled the page. I truly believe that Michael was sent here to bring the world a message through his love for people, little people, and the planet. Just like Jesus he was crucified (in a different way) by the media and people who wanted to rob him of his money and strip him of his dignity. Dignity was a huge part of Michael and when they took that he became a broken man for such a long time. I can’t keep from crying on the inside and outside for Michael Jackson. Someone told me Michael didn’t go to heaven because he wasn’t a Christian but I have heard Michael speak of God and Jesus many times. What about the song Earth Song, he mentions “gave your only son” so we know Michael believed Jesus was God’s only son so who really knows? Michael could just be in heaven. If I were God I would not feel good about keeping that man out of my heaven. He deserves it.

Rhonda I feel the same way. I can’t let it go how much he suffered. If Michael’s life had been a movie, it would be hard to believe. A man on top of the world, maligned and falsely accused, and his subsequent fall to the very depths. And for what? I think maybe that is why we are having a hard time dealing with his passing – he was so giving yet was so tortured by the powers that be. I have read the comparisons to Christ also, and I don’t think of it as heresay, as he truly tried to be a giving, loving person (Christ-like) and was persecuted on the world stage. People wanted his blood, they disregarded the not guilty verdicts and chose to believe those vile accusers without even checking their backgrounds! Michael had been in the publice eye for 40 years, with a pristine reputation, yet everyone believes the accusers! It does not make sense. We all have to work to get the truth out there and hopefully this site will be read with people who are still on the fence.

Rhonda and Elizabeth, God bless you! You have expressed exactly how I feel!!!
I just can’t let this go, I really believe that this world has lost someone who did so much and had a lot more to give. He was so selfless in all he did and in giving he never sought the limelight. As Kenny Ortega said, he tried to leave wherever he went in a better condition than he found it. What happened to Mike is wrong on every level. This consumes me on a daily basis. When will good win????
We just cannot allow this to happen again, we cannot keep losing people who make a positive contribution to our world. Not like this, not as a result of the media vultures spitting out their lies, hate and venom. Most definitely not by public figures abusing their power for personal vendettas. The public in general needs to take some responsibility in this too!!! If we stop supporting this kind of behaviour, stop accepting everything and anything they tell us as gospel… because it’s obviously anything but… Force them to do the right thing.
You know, Michael once said he tries very hard to be Christ-like. He made it very clear he wasn’t saying he was Christ, He just wanted to live the way Christ wants us to live. How great is that. He didn’t just talk the talk he walked the walk.
Mike, your love, light and beautiful spirit will shine forever in all our hearts. I will love you until the day I die. Your message will continue to be passed from generation to generation.
    Pat
